<hi style=afpcap>Once upon a time, it was the most secret aircraft the Air Force ever flew. It was whispered about, using cryptic code names like Have Blue and Senior Trend. Today, it is the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter. This veteran of the magnificent campaign against Baghdad during Operation Desert Storm is being flown by the 8th Fighter-Bomber Squadron "Black Sheep" of the 49th Fighter Wing at Holloman AFB, New Mexico. In World War II, the 49th produced the top American air ace, Lockheed P-38 Lightning pilot Major Richard I. Bong.</hi>
